Infidelity...

Sorry for the lack of updates. Life had been hectic and busy lately. In between work, traveling and friends visiting from out of town, I barely have enough time to sleep let alone write. >.<"

A few things happened though that got me thinking;
"has fidelity really lost its meaning and value?"

Let’s put it this way, being attracted to someone else is not a crime. Its a natural reaction, everything simply comes down to your self-control. The question is, what do you do with the attraction? Will you let that fleeting moment pass and not indulge in it or would you go ahead with it and wreck your existing relationship? At the risk of life time of pain and hurt and lack of trust to protrude, what is your limit in indulgent?

The one thing that I couldn't fathom, is the way our society had somewhat (though not openly) accepted infidelity as a normal happenings in life. Is this indicative of a wider unravelling of society as we know it or are we morphing into a nation of free lovers blithely bent on superficial brief encounters and wild polygamy? Hearts can be broken and affairs hurts people. It is not something to be taken lightly.

Whatever happened to the good old "till death do us part?"

Birthday Celebration Part I

For Felita's birthday dinner, we went to Dozo, a French - Japanese fusion restaurant at Valley Point. Food was decent, fine dining at a really affordable price!

Birthday Wishes to Felita

"As we walk our path of life,
We meet people everyday.
Most are simply met by chance.
But, some are sent our way.
These become special friends
...Whose bond we can’t explain;
The ones who understand us
And share our joy and pain.
Their love contains no boundaries.
So, even when apart
Their presence enhances us
With a warmth felt in the heart.
This love becomes a passageway,
When even the miles disappear.
And so, these friends, God sends our way,
Remain forever near."

Fel... Its been 4 years since this photo was taken but I'm sure for us, there'll be more pictures like this 4 years and years down the road.
Happy Birthday once again!!!

Tatsuya, Goodwood Park Hotel.

... Monday monday, just arrived back in Singapore, and still very much in the holiday mood. If truth be told, after lots of shopping, amazing food, late night partying and awesome companystill feeling a little caught up in daydreams, and so things may be moving a little more slowly tomorrow... but for tonight, I had an amazing omakase dinner at Tatsuya

Sweet, crunchy Japanese Tomato
Tofu
Hirame Carpaccio topped with Caviar in Goma sauce
Sashimi platter
simmered grilled Iwana (arctic char) with Japanese eggplant
Pickles
Simmered Fish Head
Aburi Sushi
Aburi Sushi is a specialty of the house, the chefs prepare them just right – perfectly searing them with a blowtorch.

Matsuzaka beef Sushi
Salmon skin handroll
Ichigo and Melon
Tatsuya certainly lives up to its reputation as one of the top Japanese restaurants in Singapore and a must visit for anyone who loves Japanese food. The dishes served won in terms of creativity as well as freshness of ingredients. They are rich in textures, flavours and visual appeal. Every bite is exquisite, every mouthful is memorable.
